The Mounjaro KwikPen is an injectable medication used to support weight management and weight reduction. It is prescribed alongside a calorie-restricted diet and increased physical activity for adults who are obese, or overweight with at least one weight-related comorbidity, such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, obstructive sleep apnea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes, or type 2 diabetes.
Increases insulin secretion when blood glucose levels rise.
Improves the body’s responsiveness to naturally produced insulin.
Reduces hunger, decreases food cravings, and lowers overall food intake, particularly foods high in sugar or fat.
Slows gastric emptying, helping you feel full more quickly. Supports the body’s fat-utilization and metabolic processes.
This is a ready-to-use, multi-dose, disposable injection pen.
Each pen contains four fixed doses. Use one dose per week, administered subcutaneously (into the fatty tissue beneath the skin).
Dispose of the pen after completing all four injections, even if some medication remains.
The pen cannot be dialed to a full dose once all four weekly doses have been delivered.
Do not attempt to inject any remaining medication or transfer it to another syringe.
Do not share the Mounjaro KwikPen with anyone, even if the needle has been replaced, as doing so may result in the transmission of serious infections.

Do not stop or adjust the dosage without medical advice. Use the medication exactly as directed by your healthcare provider.
Attend all scheduled medical appointments to monitor treatment progress.
If you experience dizziness, contact your physician immediately.
Maintain a balanced diet and regular exercise routine throughout treatment.
Check the pen label to ensure you have the correct medication and dosage strength as prescribed.
Inspect the solution inside the pen. It should be clear, colorless to pale yellow.
Do not use the medication if it has been frozen, is cloudy, contains particles, or appears abnormally discolored.
Do not use the pen if it is expired, damaged, or compromised in any way.
