Lateral Brow Lift

What is a Lateral Brow Lift ?

A Lateral Brow Lift, is a surgical procedure designed to correct drooping or low-positioned brows — a condition in which the brow sits too close to the eye socket or the tail of the brow descends below the inner brow line. This imbalance often gives the face a tired, sad, or aged appearance, and can lead to sagging skin around the forehead and upper eyelids, affecting overall facial harmony.

By precisely lifting and repositioning the outer portion of the brow, the procedure restores symmetry, opens up the eye area, and rejuvenates the upper face. In addition to enhancing facial balance, a well-performed brow lift can also subtly improve facial expression and boost confidence.

At One Surgery & Aesthetics Clinic, we offer various advanced techniques for brow lift surgery — each with its own unique benefits. Our board-certified plastic surgeons provide comprehensive consultations and personalized treatment planning to ensure every procedure aligns perfectly with your individual facial structure, aesthetic goals, and desired outcome. With our expert team and meticulous approach, safety and satisfaction are always our top priorities.

Who Is an Ideal Candidate for a Lateral Brow Lift ?

  • Individuals with drooping or downward-sloping brows due to aging or genetics.
  • Those with asymmetrical brows or uneven facial proportions seeking improved balance.

Individuals experiencing forehead wrinkles, frown lines, or sagging around the outer eyes.

The Lateral Brow Lift Programs at One Surgery & Aesthetics Clinic

At One Surgery & Aesthetics Clinic, we emphasize a personalized approach to brow lift surgery. A consultation with our board-certified specialists allows for a detailed assessment of facial anatomy and helps determine the most suitable technique to achieve balanced, natural, and satisfying results.

1. Endoscopic Transbleph Technique

This minimally invasive procedure uses an endoscope, with small incisions of 3–4 cm made at 4–5 points along the hairline. Through these incisions, an Endotine medical device is inserted to lift and secure targeted muscles, while excess skin is carefully removed.

2. Direct Brow Lift Technique

This technique involves making an incision along the upper edge of the brow, extending from the tail to the head of the brow as needed. Excess skin is removed, and the incision is closed to lift the brow.

3. Gliding Brow Lift Technique

Similar to the Endoscopic Transbleph method, this technique uses 4–5 small incisions along the hairline to access the SMAS layer and remove excess skin. The brows are then lifted to the desired position.

4. Sub-Brow Lift Technique

This procedure addresses both drooping brows and eyelids by making an incision along the lower edge of the brow. Excess skin and fat are removed, and the incision is closed discreetly beneath the brow.

Benefits and Precautions of Lateral Brow Lift

One Surgery & Aesthetics Clinic

Benefits of Lateral Brow Lift

  • Lifts and tightens the outer brows and lateral eyelids for a refreshed appearance.
  • Enhances the eye shape, making the eyes appear larger and more open.
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles on the lateral forehead and outer eye area.
  • Restores a youthful, rejuvenated look to the face.
  • Facilitates makeup application with smoother, elevated eyelids.
  • Long-lasting results: With proper care, the effects can endure for several years.

Precautions and Considerations

  • Choose the most suitable surgical technique: Brow lift surgery can be performed using various methods, including Endoscopic, Direct, or Temporal Brow Lift. The choice depends on the individual’s facial structure and specific concerns. Our expert surgeons carefully evaluate each case to ensure optimal results.
  • Procedure must be performed by a certified specialist: The forehead and brow area contain critical nerves; an inexperienced practitioner may risk asymmetry or numbness.

How to prepare for Lateral Brow Lift Surgery

Consult a board-certified specialist directly to evaluate your suitability for the procedure.

Avoid certain medications and supplements at least 7 days prior to surgery.

Refrain from smoking and alcohol for at least 1–2 weeks before the procedure.

Discuss all limitations and preparation steps with your surgeon to ensure a safe and effective outcome tailored to your individual needs.

Post op care

Rest adequately and keep your head elevated for the first 1–2 nights following surgery.

Protect the incision sites from water to avoid infection. If minor bleeding occurs, gently dab with sterile gauze—avoid rubbing.

Keep the incision clean and take all prescribed medications as directed by your surgeon.

Apply cold compresses for the first 48 hours to minimize swelling and discomfort.
