Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery

What Is Double Eyelid Surgery?

Double Eyelid Surgery (also known as Blepharoplasty) is a refined cosmetic procedure designed to create or enhance the natural eyelid crease. It effectively addresses concerns such as monolids, hidden folds, uneven eyelids, small eyes, drooping outer corners, or weakened eyelid muscles.

This delicate surgery delivers long-lasting, natural-looking results—revealing brighter, more expressive eyes that beautifully complement your facial harmony

Double Eyelid Surgery Techniques

At One Surgery and Aesthetics Clinic, we offer two signature techniques for double eyelid surgery — the Long-Incision Method and the Short-Incision Method.
Each technique is uniquely designed to address different eyelid concerns and deliver beautifully natural results.

Long-Incision Double Eyelid Surgery

The Long-Incision Technique, combined with the removal of excess skin and fat, involves making an incision from the inner to the outer corner of the eyelid.
This approach allows the surgeon to precisely reshape the eyelid crease while removing sagging skin and accumulated fat, resulting in well-defined, naturally contoured, and larger-looking eyes.

Short-Incision Double Eyelid Surgery

The Short-Incision Technique, also known as the Mini-Incision Method, involves creating a small 3–5 mm incision on the eyelid, followed by the placement of fine sutures to form a natural crease.
This minimally invasive approach offers a gentle, refined result with reduced swelling, minimal risk of inflammation, and a shorter recovery time.

How to prepare for eyelid surgery

To ensure the best possible results and a safe surgical experience, please follow these pre-surgery guidelines carefully:

Inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions, medications, or dietary supplements you are currently taking.

Get sufficient rest and maintain a healthy sleep routine prior to your surgery.

Avoid alcohol consumption for at least two weeks before the procedure.

Post op care

To support healing and achieve the best aesthetic outcome, please follow these post-surgery care instructions

Rest adequately, keeping your head elevated for the first 1–2 nights after surgery to help reduce swelling.

Avoid getting the incision area wet until advised by your doctor.

If minor bleeding occurs, gently dab with sterile gauze—do not rub the area.

Keep the wound clean and take prescribed medications as directed by your doctor.
